    sweet! I have been having family here every day for weeks. Havn’t had this many visitors since we were in Italy. So have only been on very briefly and very early in the morning and that has been it. William has been enjoyng that LEGO MMO beta.

    We had a little at sea period since Tuesday, but I should be back this weekend in time to take advantage of the free anniversary period. It’s been a while since I’ve played, though, and none of my characters are into the teen levels. I might see if Scarab or The Spider are still interesting to me. I vaguely recall having some fun with an archer before I let my subscription lapse. Can’t stand the laser-string, non-bendy bow animation, but the powers were fun.

    What I’m really looking forward to, though, is getting my hands on Going Rogue for CoH. Still my all-time favorite MMO and new content is the perfect excuse to get back into it for another go with Junior.

    I retcon’d Ring, and I think I have like 3 characters right around 20-24, Adventure Man, Dragoneer, and Abysstress. But I can always make a new one, or use the Silver Spectre!

    Every time I try to want to play CoH, I fail miserably. I’m afraid to try to want to again, on account of what it’s doing to my self esteem.

    Though my desire to play COH is still fluctuating between none and very little. I told myself I was retired for good after a resubbed around issue 11 or 12. It’s just to familiar and tedious for me to really enjoy anymore.

    I think my only dissappointment with CoH is the combination of Mission Architect and automatic sidekicking that makes grouping very insular. I can’t say what the population of the game is now, but it’s very rare to find somebody actually looking to team with somebody they don’t already know. Since all my online friends are playing Champions, my last outing in Paragon City found it to be very lonely.

    But I far prefer to the play of CoH over Champions. I just love the distinct archetypes over Champions’ subtley different stances (or whatever they’re called). I also find the 5th edition of Champions to be a big step back in creativity from the stuff they wrote for 4th edition.

    In fact, I think the only thing I liked about Champions Online was that you guys were in it.

    Mondays and Tuesdays are bad, Fridays and Saturdays are kinda scary too. Wed or Thurs would be best for me.
