We are happy to have you and welcome your inclusion into our tight-knit family of gamers. Currently we are playing a handful of different MMOs but the three with the largest concentration of our players are Star Trek Online, Champions Online, and The Lord of the Rings Online. As soon as you walk in the door, go to the new groups page and request membership to every applicable group! You should be able to join the public group straight away but the others will be invite/request only to keep their content away from public eyes.
I’m looking forward to bringing the site back to it’s former glory!

The Smoky Black Horse is the winning design from the European Horse Design contest. This mount is available once you have achieved Kindred status with the Malledhrim and amassed 20 Malledhrim Gold Star Medallions which are similar, tho less easily acquired, to the Lothlorien Gold Leaves.
The Horse has the same stats as all reputation horses, which is to say that they are as fast as the purchased horses but are a bit sturdier for racing through hostile areas.
Other than that, there is really nothing special about the new horse. However, if you want a black horse and don’t see Rank 9 PvP in your future, then this is the only other option. My Burglar is quite happy with it.

The Lord of the Rings Online Volume 3 – Allies of the King has been announced. Book 1 is title “Oath of the Rangers” and the new teaser screen promises the following:
- Marshall the Rangers of the North and help the future king find his destiny!
- Stage a daring rescue in the depths of Nurz Ghashu!
- 4 New 12-person Skirmishes
- New Level 65 Crafting Recipes
I hope marshaling the Rangers of the North means new Annuminas content, I really really do. It may not be much of a stretch since we are clearly returning to the Rift (that’s Nurz Ghashu people! If the Rift is back on the table then at least I can hope that Annuminas will come back too (bonus if it is a scalable Skirmish since it kind of behaved like one anyway).

In one of those pictures, I’d swear I see me some Annuminas. However, it doesn’t look like they are mentioning it by name, so I might be out of luck.

Star Trek Online is under development by Cryptic Studios, the people responsible for some of our all time favorite games (Champions Online, City of Heroes, and City of Villains).
Release Date: February 2010

The Lord of the Rings Online is Turbine’s popular MMORPG based on the famous and time-honored writings of J.R.R. Tolkien. While the general mechanics of the game are fairly traditional for a fantasy MMO, the environment and the tie-ins to the epic story line are nothing short of exceptional. Turbine’s rendition of Tolkien’s Middle-earth is inspiring.

Champions Online (CO) is Cryptic Studios‘ latest superhero-themed MMORPG. Based ideologically on the Champions Pen-and-Paper (PnP) role playing game, CO is a fast-paced action MMO with unprecedented levels of customization.
